Ghana orders two C295s

Airbus Military has announced an order for two C295 transports for the Republic of Ghana, with both aircraft to be delivered by 2012.

The C295s are expected to be used for medical evacuation, paratrooping, training and humanitarian operations including assistance to a number of aid organisations. According to Airbus, a total of 85 C295s have now been ordered by 14 customers worldwide.
