Tanzania’s Precision Air orders five ATRs

Tanzanian carrier Precision Air Services has ordered four ATR 42-600s and one ATR 72-600 in a deal valued at US$98 million.

Deliveries of the 50 seat 42-600s will begin late this year, with the 74 seat 72-600 scheduled for delivery in 2014.

With the order, Precision Air Services will become the largest operator of ATR aircraft in Africa with a fleet of 14.
