Adelaide flight school buys Diamond DA40s

Flight Training Adelaide has purchased eight Diamond DA40 CS training planes with options on 18 more. (Hawker Pacific)

Hawker Pacific has announced the sale of as many as 26 Diamond DA40 CS aircraft to Flight Training Adelaide, with the first four set for delivery by mid year.

Eight of the single engine four-seaters are scheduled to be delivered in 2012, with the flight school taking options on 18 additional aircraft scheduled for delivery in 2013 and 2014.

The DA40 CSs are equipped with a Garmin G1000 avionics suite and powered by a Lycoming IO-360-M1A avgas engine.
