Kuwait based leasing company ALAFCO has ordered 35 additional Airbus A320neo aircraft on top of an order of 50 announced late last year at the Dubai Airshow.

In a statement, ALAFCO said it had upped its order in response to strong demand for the aircraft.

“The A320neo is the market’s favourite single-aisle aircraft family,” CEO Ahmad Alzabin said. “Therefore, we are seizing the opportunity to secure an additional 35 aircraft to meet the future requirements of our customers.
