Embraer “brand ambassador” and martial arts star Jackie Chan has taken delivery of the first Legacy 650 executive jet in China as the Brazilian planemaker moves to increase its visibility in the growing Chinese corporate market.

“This delivery is a moment of historical importance to Embraer because it solidifies an already long and successful relationship between China and Embraer,” said Ernest Edwards, president, Embraer Executive Jets.

Chan, star of the Rush Hour films as well as such classics as Drunken Master and The Legend of Drunken Master, said in a statement that he was honoured to join the Embraer family.

“I chose the Legacy 650 because [sic] its large three zone cabin, offering incredibly quiet performance and luxury,” he said.
