Dublin-based leasing company Avolon has committed to buy 15 Boeing 737 MAX and 10 737-800 aircraft in a deal valued at $2.3 billion at list prices. The deal also includes reconfirmation rights for an additional five 737 MAXs.

The announcement, made overnight at the Farnborough Airshow, continues a strong run for the re-engined narrowbody, with Boeing tallying 185 orders and commitments for 737 MAX aircraft over the past week. Avolon’s order includes 10 737 MAX-8s and five 737 MAX-9s.

The 737 MAX is scheduled to begine deliveries in 2017.
