Boeing has confirmed an order from Korean Air for two 777-300ER aircraft as the carrier expands its fleet to meet increasing demand in Asia.
This deal is valued at $596 million at list prices. With finalisation of this deal, Boeing will deliver a total of six new 777-3000ERs to Korean Air, which presently operates 10 777-300ERs and became the first airline to operate both the 747-8 and 777 Freighters after a February delivery.
Meanwhile, Ethiopian Airlines has announced an order for one additional 777-200LR.
