Airbus has delivered its 100th Chinese-built A320 Family aircraft just over three years after delivering its first.

The 100th aircraft was handed over to Air China, which said it would use the plane on domestic routes out of Shanghai.

Eleven Chinese customers have taken delivery of aircraft from the Airbus Tianjin Delivery Centre since the first A320 was handed over on June 22 2009, Airbus says.
