RACQ CareFlight has welcomed a partnership with Aviation Australia.

RACQ CareFlight Rescue has welcomed a partnership with Aviation Australia what will see the Queensland non-profit reimbursed for $15,000 per year worth of underwater escape training at Aviation Australia’s Brisbane Airport facility.

In addition, CareFlight said 50 Aviation Australia employees had donated another $15,000, bringing the total value of the partnership to $30,000.

“We rely largely on agreements of this nature to continue providing our world-class medical service to the communities of southern Queensland,” CareFlight’s Leanne Angel said. “CareFlight is thrilled to welcome Aviation Australia on board as a partner and we thank them for their pledge of ongoing support.”

CareFlight said its underwater escape courses train thousands of aviation, marine, defence and emergency services professionals each year, with revenues supporting the organisation’s aeromedical services.
