Philippine Airlines will increase its flights to Australia from five to seven flights per week from October 28, the airline has announced.

The airline will discontinue its current triangular services from Manila to Sydney and Melbourne in favour of direct flights between the Philippine capital and Australia’s two largest cities. Sydney flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays while Melbourne flights will run Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

All flights will continue to operate using Boeing 777-300ERs.
