Air Pacific shows off new Fiji Airways livery

written by australianaviation.com.au | October 12, 2012

Air Pacific will return to its maiden name of Fiji Airways next year.

Air Pacific has unveiled its new livery as it prepares to re-launch as Fiji Airways next year.

Fiji Airways' new livery.

The new livery will be featured on a trio of new Airbus A330s scheduled to arrive during 2013.

The re-brand is part of a larger overhaul that saw Air Pacific report a profit this year after two years of significant losses. Air Pacific was known as Fiji Airways from its launch in 1958 until 1970.

Qantas, which owns 46 per cent of the airline, has been locked in contentious talks with the Fijian government over selling its share.
