New Sydney CASA HQ

written by australianaviation.com.au | October 19, 2012

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) has moved into new premises in Mascot, Sydney in what federal Infrastructure and Transport Minister Anthony Albanese says “will ensure a more consistent approach to the monitoring, surveillance and delivery of regulatory services”.

“Providing CASA with more modern and centrally located facilities will assist in the Authority’s ability to respond to new technological developments and the diversity of the aviation sector,” the Minister said.

The new premises come atop the 2010 $90 million injection from the federal government to enhance core surveillance and regulatory functions aimed at supporting growth in domestic aviation activity and to meet demands from the anticipated surge in international inbound operations in the coming decade.
