Aeroflot receives 100th Airbus

written by australianaviation.com.au | November 1, 2012

An A330-300 has become the 100th Airbus to be delivered to Aeroflot.

The Rolls Royce Trent 700-powered aircraft joins a fleet of 20 A330-family and 79 A320-family Airbuses in Aeroflot’s 125-strong fleet.  The A330-300s are used on the airline’s medium and long haul services in a 28/268 configuration.

Aeroflot began Airbus operations in 1992 when it introduced the A310 to international services.  Russia’s de facto national carrier has 22 A350s and 22 787-8s on order.
