New Qantas partner Emirates is launching an additional A380 service to Sydney.

Emirates said it planned to upgrade one of its daily Boeing 777 service between Sydney and Dubai to an A380 from June 1, adding about 1900 seats per week on the route. The service will depart Sydney as EK415 at 9:30 pm and return as EK414 at 6 am the following day.

The move will give the Qantas-Emirates alliance three daily A380 flights between Sydney and Dubai, including Qantas’s single daily service.
