Embraer's Phenom 300

Embraer has delivered its first US-made Phenom 300 business jet to an undisclosed customer.

The Brazilian aircraft maker opened its production facility in Melbourne, Florida, in February 2011 in an effort to expand its customer base in North America. Embraer delivered its first US-built jet — a Phenom 100 — in January 2012.

Delivery of the first Phenom 300 was proof of the maturity of Embraer’s Melbourne, Florida assembly facilities, said Phil Krull, Embraer’s Managing Director Melbourne Assembly.

“We have quickened the manufacturing pace and will be able to accommodate a more demanding schedule. This is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our employees both here and in Brazil.”
