Passenger aircraft leasing company Avation has agreed to purchase five additional ATR 72-600s in a deal worth US$120 million for delivery the aircraft during 2015.

This order of aircraft for new and existing Avation customers brings the number of ATR 72-600s ordered by the Singapore-based company for delivery before the end of 2015 to 14. Avation leases ATR 72 aircraft to Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, but has not specified if these aircraft are intended for Virgin.
