WOFA Podcast: Aviation Australia Expo Episode 2

written by Anna Grbas | October 6, 2019

Welcome to the second episode in our three-part series from the Aviation Australia aviation expo in Brisbane that was held in August 2019.

On this episode, host Mic Cullen takes a deep dive into mechanical engineering with licenced aircraft maintenance engineers (LAME) Charlie Mifsud and Neil Delarue.

Left to right: Craig Veary, Bruce Williams and Charlie Misfud (Aviation Australia)

For those who are passionate about engineering or are curious about the role of a LAME, Mifsud and Delarue take you through what the job involves and the type of work they do every day.

The well-attended expo also included a LifeFlight demonstration of its tactical Helicopter Underwater Escape Training at the state-of-the-art facility.
