Etihad Airways has announced that it will commence flying its A380 double-decker aircraft on the Abu Dhabi to Paris Charles de Gaulle route from 1 November, 2024. Paris will become the third major city to experience Etihad’s A380 service, joining London and New York.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, said, “As a city celebrated for its style and ambiance, Paris is the perfect destination for our iconic A380 aircraft. This enhancement reflects our commitment to delivering award-winning comfort and service across all cabin classes.”
The introduction of the A380 on this route is expected to benefit both leisure and corporate travelers, with Neves emphasizing that the state-of-the-art cabins and bespoke amenities ensure business travelers can work, relax, and arrive refreshed. Features such as The Lobby lounge and Business Studios create an ideal environment for productivity and comfort.
Economy passengers will enjoy comfortable seating arrangements, including 68 seats with four inches of extra legroom and 337 Smart seats featuring Etihad’s innovative fixed-wing headrests and large pillows.
On the upper deck, the A380 features 70 private Business Studios, complemented by The Lobby lounge area. Each Business Studio is equipped with premium amenities designed with Armani/Casa and WiFi connectivity. First Apartments offer nine private spaces with designer tableware, leather chairs, and a large ottoman-bed, along with an exclusive shower room for first-class guests.
The highlight of Etihad’s A380 is The Residence, the world’s only three-room suite in the sky. Accommodating up to two guests, The Residence features a private living room, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom with a shower. Guests in The Residence can indulge in a culinary journey with an à la carte menu, served on designer tableware in the private living room, or opt for breakfast in bed. The Residence Signature High Tea offers a range of lavish options, from gourmet cuisine to champagne and caviar.
