Aircraft charter firm opens first Irish office in Dublin

Leading aircraft charter specialist Air Charter Service (ACS) has opened its first office in Ireland.

The new branch, located in Dublin’s city centre, began operations on 1 August.

Justin Bowman, ACS’s Chief Executive, said the move had been long anticipated by the company.

“Ireland has always been on our list of where we wanted an office,” he said.

Bowman noted the expansion aligns with growth in Ireland’s business aviation sector.

“Business aviation in Ireland has been on an upward trajectory for some time now, and this move will help us to better serve our existing customers in the country and to grow our client base further,” he said.

The Dublin office is situated on St Stephen’s Green, an area that houses several other aviation companies.

Alex Sadler, who has over 11 years of experience with ACS, will head the new office.

Sadler previously opened and managed the company’s Gatwick Airport branch.

“We’ve been working towards the office opening for months now and I’m excited to finally get started here, as there is a huge potential to grow our customer base in Ireland,” Sadler said.

The Dublin branch marks another step in ACS’s global expansion strategy, which was first outlined by company Chairman Chris Leach over two decades ago.
