Etihad Airways has announced plans to begin direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Warsaw, Poland and Prague, Czechia starting 2 June 2025.
The new routes mark Etihad’s first direct services to both countries, expanding its European network.
Etihad will operate four weekly flights to each city using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, offering 28 Business Class and 262 Economy Class seats per flight.
Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer, said the new destinations reflect the airline’s growth strategy.
“These routes not only enrich our network but also offer a great opportunity to strengthen ties with these countries and attract more visitors to Abu Dhabi,” Neves said.
The airline aims to boost tourism to Abu Dhabi from Poland and Czechia, which have been growing sources of visitors to the UAE.
The flights are scheduled to provide convenient connections via Abu Dhabi to destinations across the Middle East, Asia, India and Australia.
Warsaw, Poland’s capital, is known for blending historical charm with modern energy, including its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town.
Prague, the capital of Czechia, is renowned for its Gothic, Baroque and Romanesque architecture, including Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.
Tickets for the new routes are now available for purchase through Etihad’s website and mobile app.
Passengers booking through Etihad’s website can take advantage of a complimentary two-night stopover in Abu Dhabi.
