Scotland’s airline Loganair has teamed up with Larbert-based confectionery maker Mrs Tilly’s to offer passengers a taste of traditional Scottish sweets this September.

As part of Scottish Food and Drink September, Loganair will distribute over half a tonne of Mrs Tilly’s famous Scottish tablet on its flights.

Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer of Loganair, said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Mrs Tilly’s as part of the annual Scottish Food and Drink September campaign festival.”

The partnership will see more than 6,000 bars of Scottish tablet offered to passengers on Loganair flights on September 20 and 21.

Lovegrove added, “This partnership is another way for us to reinforce our commitment to local Scottish businesses and promoting the Scottish heritage of which we are immensely proud.”

The 2024 Scottish Food and Drink September campaign, themed “Naturally Scottish”, aims to celebrate the people and products that have made Scotland’s food and drink industry world-renowned.

Blair Paterson, Managing Director at Mrs Tilly’s, expressed delight at the partnership, saying it would help “make its passengers journeys just that little bit sweeter with our famous Scottish Tablet.”
