Cathay Pacific will resume direct flights between Hong Kong and Hyderabad from March 30, 2025, boosting its Indian network to 43 weekly flights across five cities.
The service will initially operate three times weekly before increasing to five flights per week from September 1, 2025.
Cathay Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau said the route would enhance connectivity to India’s technology hub.
“The resumption reaffirms our established presence in India and our commitment to enhancing our services in this important market,” she said.
The airline will deploy Airbus A330-300 aircraft with Business and Economy cabins on the route.
By September 2025, Cathay Pacific’s Indian network will include double-daily flights to Delhi, 10 weekly flights to Mumbai, and daily services to Bengaluru and Chennai.
The carrier also offers connections to seven Greater Bay Area destinations via ferry and two via coach from Hong Kong International Airport’s SkyPier Terminal.
Cathay Cargo maintains 13 weekly return freighter flights between Hong Kong and India.
The new Hyderabad service will operate overnight from Hong Kong, departing at 21:35 and arriving at 00:45 the next day, with the return flight leaving at 01:50 and landing at 09:30.
