Embraer launches free technology training program for women and people with disabilities

written by Newsdesk | January 29, 2025

Embraer has opened registrations for its Social Tech Careers program, a free technology training initiative aimed at women and people with disabilities.

The program, offered in partnership with edtech SoulCode, will train 70 participants in data analysis, low-code development, and beginner-friendly programming techniques. The online course will run from March to June 2025, with live evening classes from Monday to Thursday.

“The market is increasingly seeking more skilled individuals in the technology field, and more professionals are interested in working with data science. With Social Tech, we hope to contribute to increasing the pool of these professionals and meet the growing demand from companies,” said Embraer’s vice president of people, ESG, and corporate communications, Andreza Alberto. “At the same time, the course encourages diversity in the technology field, so that people from different backgrounds and life experiences can expand their skills in this highly relevant area today.”

Sixty places are available to the general public, with an additional 10 reserved for Embraer employees. Applicants must complete an online registration process, which includes logic and basic computer tests, a personal introduction video, and a group dynamic. Registration is open until March 9 via the link SoulCode website.

Launched in 2021, Social Tech Careers has trained more than 1,600 professionals across four editions, focusing on underrepresented groups including women, people with disabilities, and Black and Brown individuals. Graduates of the program are included in Embraer Group’s talent pool, increasing their access to job opportunities in the technology sector.
