Air Astana to launch new direct flights between Almaty and Da Nang

Air Astana will begin operating direct flights between Almaty and Da Nang, Vietnam, from 4th June 2025.

The twice-weekly service will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays using Airbus A321LR aircraft.

Flight KC599 will depart Almaty at 00:55 local time, arriving in Da Nang at 10:05 after a flight time of 7 hours and 10 minutes.

The return flight, KC600, will leave Da Nang at 11:45 and land in Almaty at 17:00 local time.

Fares for the new route start from US$717 for Economy Class and US$1,991 for Business Class, inclusive of all taxes and fees.

The new service will increase Air Astana’s total weekly flights to Vietnam to nine, complementing existing operations between Almaty and Nha Trang (four flights weekly) and Astana and Nha Trang (three flights weekly).

The airline also operates seasonal flights from both Almaty and Astana to Phu Quoc, which will continue until 31st March 2025.

Da Nang is described as a coastal city in central Vietnam known for its white-sand beaches and attractions including The Marble Mountains, Dragon Bridge, and Bana Hills Cable Car.

The destination is also home to a 67-metre-high Buddha statue.

Kazakh citizens can visit Vietnam without a visa for stays of up to 30 days.

Tickets for the new route are available through the airline’s website and authorised travel agencies.
