Globe Air Cargo Dominican Republic is celebrating 20 years of operations, marking two decades of contribution to the country’s air cargo sector.
A subsidiary of ECS Group, the company has played a key role in modernising and formalising the air freight landscape in the Dominican Republic since its establishment. Its focus on customer service, operational efficiency and digital transformation has helped it adapt to evolving market demands and develop into a strategic logistics hub.
Managing Director Ivan Mejia, who has led the company since its inception, said the anniversary highlighted the strength of its partnerships and workforce.
“Reaching 20 years is a testament to the trust and support of our clients, partners, and employees,” he said. “This incredible journey of growth and learning inspires us to continue innovating and providing value to the air cargo community for years to come.”
Globe Air Cargo Dominican Republic has established long-term collaborations with a range of clients, including TUI, Condor Airlines, Corsair, United Aviation Enterprise and Cargo Logistics. The company facilitates freight movement between Europe, Asia and the Americas, with key transit points in Punta Cana and Santo Domingo.
Its team’s local expertise has been critical to its growth, allowing it to respond quickly to market changes and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, said effective leadership had played a vital role in the company’s progress.
“At ECS Group, we firmly believe that the strength of our subsidiaries lies in the dedication and vision of their managing directors,” he said. “Ivan’s leadership and commitment have been key to the sustained development of Globe Air Cargo Dominican Republic. We celebrate his remarkable achievements and the contributions of his entire team over the past 20 years.”
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue its focus on expansion, innovation and customer-driven service across global markets.
