Embraer will host its first aircraft finance summit in the Asia Pacific region next week, targeting Japanese and regional financiers.
The event scheduled for April 8 in Tokyo follows the company’s previous summit held in New York last year.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer aims to showcase its commercial aircraft portfolio to banks, leasing companies and other financial stakeholders.
Particular focus will be placed on the company’s E2 family of jets, which has been adopted by airlines including KLM, Scoot, LOT and Virgin.
Antonio Carlos Garcia, Chief Financial Officer at Embraer, said the Tokyo summit would “foster a deeper understanding of the potential of the E-Jets and contribute to a more supportive financing landscape, benefiting the wider aviation economy in Japan and Asia Pacific.”
The company noted that it has maintained relationships with Japanese aviation financiers for decades.
Arjan Meijer, President and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, described the event as “an extension of our long engagement with the community.”
“It will further demonstrate the capabilities of our platform, the significant market opportunity it represents, and the positive impact it’s already having on our airline partners,” he said.
Attendees will hear presentations from Embraer executives alongside insights from lessors, airlines and other industry figures about strategies for financing the company’s aircraft.
The manufacturer highlighted its investment grade ratings from S&P, Fitch and Moody’s as evidence of its financial stability.
The summit comes as Embraer looks to strengthen its position in the growing Asia Pacific aviation market.
