American Airlines has been named the official airline of US Soccer in a multiyear partnership designed to enhance travel experiences for soccer fans and member organisations across the United States.
The partnership will provide exclusive matchday experiences for fans, including match ball presentations, behind-the-scenes player access, and premium hospitality experiences through the US Soccer Insiders Lounge Delivered by American Airlines.
American will serve an estimated 125 million US Soccer fans and travellers from 118 member organisations who support the sport’s 27 national teams globally.
The collaboration will offer curated experiences including flyaway trips for US Soccer Insiders and AAdvantage members, along with exclusive perks for loyalty program members.
“The numbers speak for themselves as we see soccer participation and fandom in the United States continue to soar,” said Caroline Clayton, chief marketing officer at American Airlines.
“Whether you’re an avid or casual follower of the sport, the gameday energy at any National Team match is something you’ll never forget and, in becoming the Official Airline of US Soccer, American is eager to take that energy to new heights for our customers across the country.”
Beyond matchday experiences, American will provide travel incentives and opportunities for members to redeem miles for soccer-related experiences.
The partnership will include sponsorship of digital content showcasing passionate fans and players through behind-the-scenes material across US Soccer’s social platforms throughout the year.
Programming will feature in-stadium takeover moments and activations at tentpole matches, including a title match focused on community impact.

The partnership aligns with US Soccer’s vision to ignite national passion for the sport across three focus areas: Soccer Everywhere, Soccer Success, and Soccer Investment.
US Soccer, founded in 1913 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation, serves as the official governing body of soccer in the United States.
The federation oversees 27 national teams and works across the soccer ecosystem to maximise and diversify investments for sustainable growth at all levels.
American Airlines operates as a founding member of the oneworld alliance, offering thousands of flights daily to more than 350 destinations in over 60 countries.
The partnership represents American’s continued investment in sports partnerships and customer experience enhancement initiatives.
