written by australianaviation.com.au | May 28, 2012

Boeing’s 787 “Dream Tour” is schedule to depart for Auckland tomorrow after a five-day stay in Sydney during which selected guests of Boeing and 787 customers Qantas and Jetstar have had a chance to tour the long-awaited aircraft.

ZA003, the third 787 to be built, arrived in Sydney on May 24, kicking off the seventh and final leg of the aircraft’s world tour.  After departing for Auckland tomorrow to visit Air New Zealand, the aircraft will return to Australia with a stop in Darwin on May 31 before leaving for Uzbekistan.

AA contributor Andrew McLaughlin had a chance to fly on the 787 between Sydney and Brisbane on Saturday and sent in the following pictures. A group of 10 selected AA readers also had a chance to take a guided tour of the aircraft at Sydney Airport today.
