written by Newsdesk | December 24, 2024

CPaT Global secured a contract with Wizz Air to provide pilot and cabin crew training programs across the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet.

The Houston-based aviation training provider will deliver aircraft systems courses and general subjects training for Wizz Air’s pilot programs.

The contract includes cabin crew training modules featuring aircraft systems, safety protocols and 3D cabin simulations.

Captain Greg Darrow, Vice President of Sales at CPaT, said the partnership demonstrated the company’s commitment to European aviation training.

“By enhancing training for both pilots and cabin crew, we’re helping Wizz Air further improve their training programs and ensure their teams are equipped for continued success,” Darrow said.

Wizz Air will also gain access to CPaT Invent, a platform allowing the airline to customise and update training courses.

Petros Souppouris, Head of Group Training at Wizz Air, said CPaT was selected as a strategic partner to enhance crew training.

“We train 7000 pilots and cabin crew annually, most of them belonging to a digitally native generation, and continue adopting and testing new technologies to meet their expectations,” Souppouris said.
