It follows the federal government announcing it would gift Ukraine 20 Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles – including 14 with Protected Weapon Systems and two ambulance variants – alongside six M777 howitzers with ammunition.

The company is seeking to slowly increase its production rates of A320 jets to eventually reach 75 every month in 2025.  

The ultra-low-cost carrier dismissed the US$3.6 billion offer as its board of directors determined it “does not constitute a superior proposal”, and its pending transaction with Frontier will deliver better value for shareholders and customers.

Boeing’s CEO has said its Air Force One deal with the United States government was a risk the company “shouldn’t have taken” amid reporting higher first quarter losses.

The ruling means that Airbus can now sell the in-demand jets to other carriers.

Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington, both pilots and cousins attempted the stunt on Monday, and while Aikins was able to safely land his swapped Cessna 182, Farrington was forced to parachute land as his aircraft crashed into the Arizona desert.
