Bombardier scores CS300 order

Bombardier Aerospace has received orders for 10 CS300 jetliners from Turkish carrier Atlasjet Havacilik. The deal is valued at US$776 million and includes options for five additional CS300s, Bombardier said. The Pratt & Whitney PW1500G powered single aisle aircraft is scheduled to begin delivery in 2013 and is aimed at the 100- to 149-seat market.

First King Air 250 delivered to Australia

Hawker Pacific has delivered its first King Air 250 business plane to Australia. The Pratt & Whitney PT6A-52 powered turboprop will be used to transport “key personnel between remote project sites,” Hawker Pacific said, declining to identify its corporate customer. Airbus has announced a pair of deals for more than 100 of its A320 Family airliners. The European jetmaker inked a memorandum of understanding to sell 75 of the single aisle aircraft to Spirit Airlines, a budget carrier serving the southeastern US and Caribbean region.
