Boeing St Louis workers vote to strike
Boeing’s St Louis based union machinists who work on F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and F-15K/SG Eagle fighters and other Boeing military programs have voted to strike following their rejection of a contract offer from the company. Japanese pilots to train in NZ
CTC Aviation Group and Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology have signed an agreement which will see the two New Zealand based companies train pilots from Japan’s JF Oberlin University. The agreement will see 17 pilots trained each year at CTC’s crew training centre in Hamilton from September this year, with 30 pilots to be trained
Qantas ups Sydney-Perth services
Qantas will add another six weekly services between Sydney and Perth from July this year, taking its total frequency on the route to 54 return flights per week. The new services will depart from Sydney daily between Sunday and Friday at 3:10pm, while the services from Perth depart at 7:05am and operate daily between Monday
Tiger adds more Avalon routes
