The Royal Australian Navy’s Unmanned Aircraft System Unit completed the first-of-class flight trial for the Insitu ScanEagle unmanned aircraft system in late March, Navy Daily has reported. A third RAAF pilot is now qualified on the F-35A after Flight Lieutenant Edwin Borrman recently completed his qualifying flight at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. Night operations at Queenstown Airport have commenced with the arrival of Air New Zealand flight NZ613 from Auckland.
