Air NZ on track for profit growth in 2014/15
Air New Zealand chairman Tony Carter says the Kiwi flag carrier is on track for profit growth in 2014/15 with bookings strong heading into summer. Carter told shareholders at Air NZ’s annual general meeting in Christchurch on Tuesday it had been an “encouraging start to the year with solid forward bookings into the high season”.

Scoot plans Dreamliner debut on Jan 1 2015
Low-cost carrier Scoot will celebrate the new year with Boeing 787-9 services to Hong Kong and Perth from its Singapore hub. Scoot has brought forward its inaugural Dreamliner flights to January 1 2015, according to the Airline Route website. Previously, the Singapore Airlines-owned carrier was due to start replacing its six Boeing 777-200ERs with 787-9s from March 29 2015.
