Airbus has asked a London High Court judge to award the planemaker US$220 million in damages over two A350 aircraft ready to be delivered but rejected by Qatar Airways. Dubbed ‘Mriya’, which means ‘The Dream’ in Ukrainian, the jet was reportedly under repair and routine maintenance at the Antonov Company site in Gostomel Airport when it was destroyed.

Flights are restricted within cities of Ukraine such as Kyiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, Simferopol FIR, Kyiv UIR, according to the notice.

The task force will send up to eight F-35 fighter jets sent from Germany to several NATO eastern flank locations, a battalion of 20 AH-64 Apache helicopters to the Baltic region and 12 Apache helicopters from Greece to Poland.

In a regulatory filing in the US, the carrier said that Boeing has delayed deliveries of its new 787 Dreamliner jets, with the airline now planning to accept only 10 of the 13 Dreamliners it had scheduled for delivery this year. The remaining three aircraft will be delivered next year.

The modifications to the “A321P2F” will include upgrading the LCD cockpit display and weather radar as well as the airframe.
