Garuda Indonesia has announced that it will launch Jakarta-Dubai-Amsterdam services on June 1 2010, marking its first return to Europe since it ceased flights there in 2004. The flights will be operated by Airbus A330-200s, while longer term the airline hopes to operate nonstop services from Jakarta to Amsterdam after it takes delivery of its Boeing 777-300ERs.
