Jetstar apologises for stalking flight attendant

written by WOFA | October 8, 2009

Jetstar has apologised to a woman who has been pursued by one of its flight attendants through the Facebook social networking website.

According to media reports, the woman, identified only as Elizabeth, claims that one of her daughters has received a number of Facebook friend requests from a Jetstar flight attendant following a flight from the Sunshine Coast to Melbourne. The lady claims that the flight attendant was not told her daughter’s name, but may have gained it from the passenger manifest.

Jetstar later announced on October 8 that it had stood down the flight attendant involved.
