MAp eyeing Qantas terminal

written by WOFA | November 30, 2009

MAp Airports Limited (formerly Macquarie Airports) has said that it would be interested in acquiring Qantas’s Terminal 3 at Sydney Airport if it was put up for sale.

“Sydney Airport, with the right parameters, would look at T3 if the opportunity arose,” CEO Kerrie Mather told the Australian Financial Review.

MAp holds a 74 per cent stake in Sydney Airport, and made a previous attempt in 2006 to acquire the terminal.
