written by WOFA | November 19, 2009

Newly launched Dakar based carrier Senegal Airlines has signed a letter of intent for four Airbus A320s and two A330s.

The new airline, which is predominately privately owned, will replace Air Senegal International and launch services in early 2010 to destinations in Africa and Europe.

The airline has also announced that it will receive assistance with commercial support, technical expertise, training and aviation-related goods and services from the Emirates Group, following the signing of an agreement between the governments of Senegal and Dubai.
