RFDS Qld takes two new Caravans

written by WOFA | December 7, 2009

100_4593Aeromil Pacific has completed delivery of two new Cessna Grand Caravan 208B aircraft to the Queensland Section of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS).

The two Caravans (VH-NQC and VH-NQD) will operate from the RFDS Cairns Airport base and service North Queensland towns and Cape York communities, providing essential transport for primary health care staff and allied health services.

“Adding such a cost effective aircraft to our fleet means that we can transport more staff to remote communities and deliver much needed health services to people in the far north,” said Nino DiMarco, CEO of RFDS Queensland.
