Sydney Metropolitan Airports has announced that Tower Road at Bankstown Airport will close from January 1 to April 2010 for essential maintenance works.
SMA says that during that time the road will be closed from Rabaul Road to the observation area to allow for a assessment of the maintenance program, as well as assisting contractors who will undertake runway repairs at the same time. Access to a number of aviation tenants on Tower Road will be available through Henry Lawson Drive during the closure period.
