Embraer has brought its Phenom 100 demonstrator aircraft to Australia as part of an Asian sales tour which will cover Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Cairns, and Darwin.

“We are excited about showcasing the Phenom 100 in Australia for the first time,” said José Eduardo Costas, Embraer’s VP of marketing and sales, Asia Pacific – Executive Jets. “Australia has a mature aviation culture, going back to the early ’40s. We are confident that the market will be receptive to the Phenom 100, the fastest and most comfortable jet in its class, and one of the most recent executive jets available on the market today.”

The demonstration comes after Embraer announced at the Singapore Airshow that it has appointed Execujet Australia as its exclusive authorised service provider for executive jets, which will include support for the Phenom 100 and 300.

The Phenom 100 is airtested in the March 2010 issue of Australian Aviation, on sale February 17.
