Eurocopter has announced that the worldwide fleet of AS332 Super Puma/AS532 Cougar and follow-on EC225/EC725 families have accumulated a total of four million flight hours in service.

The hours have been amassed by the 740 civil and military variants of the helicopter in service around the world, which on average achieve a 98 per cent availability rate. Locally, Bristow Helicopters and CHC (pictured) operate AS332s in support of the offshore petroleum industry in WA and the Northern Territory, while Bristow also operates the EC225.
