Hawker Pacific has delivered six Diamond DA40 CS aircraft to UNSW Aviation, fulfilling most of an order placed earlier this year.

The four seat, single engine DA40 CSs are equipped with a Garmin G1000 avionics suite and powered by a Lycoming IO-360-M1A avgas engine. A twin engine DA42 L360 will also be delivered to UNSW during the second quarter of the year to complete its order.

“The aim of the UNSW Aviation Flying Operations Unit is to provide our students with one of the world’s best training environments,” said Professor Jason Middleton, head of UNSW Aviation. “We believe the selection of these aeroplanes is consistent with this aim and are confident our students and instructors will appreciate the performance, safety and design features they offer.”
