Gulfstream Aerospace has announced that a second G250 has entered flight testing, with the aircraft making its first flight from Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport on March 24.
“We are very pleased with the progress that we’ve made,” said Pres Henne, senior vice president, programs, engineering and test, Gulfstream. “Both aircraft have performed wonderfully. We have a lot of work ahead, but we are excited about where we are.”
The super midsize G250 is being designed and built in conjunction with Israel Aerospace Industries. The aircraft is currently scheduled to achieve type certification in 2011.
