Strategic Airlines will launch Perth-Denpasar services from June 12, joining Jetstar, AirAsia, Pacific Blue and Garuda Indonesia 0n the route.

The airline will initially operate twice weekly services, with an additional service from July 4. Tickets for the services went on sale on March 12, with fares starting from $99 one way. The services will be flown by an Airbus A320.

Strategic’s head of commercial Damien Vasta said that the airline would be aiming to offer a unique product to travellers. “We will offer Perth travellers the option to fly to Bali with a full-service product at affordable prices – a combination that has not been available until now,” he said.

Vasta added that the airline was looking forward to expanding its WA services, which also includes its three times weekly Perth-Derby (Curtin) services. The carrier is also seeking fly-in/fly-out contracts with major mining companies.
