Curtiss-Wright awarded JSF AAM trapeze contract

Curtiss-Wright Controls has been awarded a contract by Lockheed Martin to provide structural components and related hardware for the F-35 JSF’s air-to-air missile Trapeze launch system.

The Trapeze system, being developed for the F-35’s system development and demonstration (SDD) phase, will provide the ability to launch AAMs from a rail carried on a trapeze that swings out from F-35’s weapon bay.
