Jetstar has carried its one millionth domestic New Zealand passenger since it replaced Qantas’s domestic New Zealand services in June 2009.

“One million passengers have flown with Jetstar across our New Zealand routes between Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown. That’s equivalent to one Kiwi in four choosing to fly with Jetstar in just 10 months of operation,” said Jetstar CEO Bruce.

“Of our one million Jetstar domestic passengers, around 900,000 Kiwis have been able to get to their destination for under NZ$100 (A$76), while more than a third has flown for under NZ$50 (A$38) and nearly 15 per cent for under NZ$30 (A$23),” he added.

Jetstar currently flies up to 84 weekly services between Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown with a fleet of six 177-seat Airbus A320s.
