Qantas has lodged an application with the International Air Services Commission (IASC) seeking unlimited capacity and frequency for cargo services to South Korea.

In its application, the airline states that it plans to operate services on a Sydney-Seoul (Incheon)-Anchorage-Chicago service utilising a Boeing 747-400 Freighter operated by Atlas Air. The IASC has made a call for competing applications on the Korea route, which are due by May 24.
