Upgrades for Hawker 800XP

written by WOFA | May 5, 2010

Hawker Beechcraft has announced that it will offer an aftermarket upgrade package for the Hawker 800XP, including an engine change and new winglets to increase capability and performance.

“Customer input clearly told us that many Hawker 800XP owners are interested in enhancing the value of their current aircraft with improved range, better hot/high performance and lower operating cost,” said Christi Tannahill, HBC’s vice president global customer support.

Designated as the Hawker 800XPR, the upgraded aircraft will feature new Honeywell TFE731-50R engines capable of producing 22.2kN of thrust, which help to improve hot and high performance and lower fuel burn and emissions as well as higher maintenance intervals. In addition, HBC has also developed winglets for the aircraft which yield increased range, better climb performance and faster cruise speeds.
